Speaker Instructions

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for contributing to our Users Meeting 2020 and providing a presentation at our event. In case you can or cannot travel to Trieste, the following sections highlight the next steps to complete prior to the event and participate as speaker.

Also, please check your slot in the agenda to see when your speech is scheduled and for listing of all of the presentations that will be delivered.

If you are presenting in person in Trieste:

  1. Make sure you submit the abstract, title, bio and your picture by 4 September.
  2. Download the conference presentation template in ppt.
  3. If you are a keynote your session can last up to 30 minutes. If you are presenting at a parallel session your time slot is up to 25 minutes. Please leave a couple of minutes within your slot for Q&A.
  4. Ensure you submit the complete ppt presentation to um20@esteco.com by 21 September.
  5. Please remember to sign and send the complete Waiver and Release Form document by 21 September. Download here.

If you are presenting online, your presentation must be pre-recorded and sent to um20@esteco.com by 21 September.

Please follow the instructions below:

  1. Download the conference presentation template in ppt.
  2. Use Microsoft PowerPoint and its recording features: read the instructions and watch the tutorial here. (See also our short video about tips & tricks to pre-record your PowerPoint presentation).
  3. Ensure you submit the complete registration in .mp4 format to um20@esteco.com by 21 September.
  4. Please remember to sign and send the complete Waiver and Release Form document by 21 September. Download here.
  5. Please check your slot in the agenda and make sure you are available online at the time of your presentation.
  6. At the end of your/each session, you should be available for a Q&A managed by the chairman.
