Gary Richardson has over 20 years of experience in the design and development of medical devices, particularly in the use of simulation to bring better ophthalmic products to market faster. He was instrumental in applying the use of finite element modeling to the development of intraocular lenses. Gary holds six design patents and was a key contributor to the launch of multiple intraocular and contact lens products. In his spare time he enjoys fingerstyle guitar, record collecting, photography, and backpacking with his son.
