Salim Belouettar
Head of Research Group
Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology
Salim Belouettar does research in Data-driven computational mechanics with application to composite materials and structures. Salim Belouettar received his PhD in mechanics of materials – University of Metz in 1997. His research interests include development of materials modelling, interoperability, metadata and standardization in materials science and the applications of materials informatics and materials modelling. Since 2016 he is an active member of the European Materials Modelling Council (EMMC, http://emmc.info) and is active in a number of EU actions both as coordinator and member promoting integration of material and process modelling, interoperability and business modelling for decision making. Main fields of interest computational mechanics, materials Informatics, Multiscale Modelling and Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME).
