Sanyal Gorania studied physics and received her Master’s degree from the University of Birmingham (MSci Physics) this summer. Her curriculum involved a wide range of physics topics typical of any physics course (quantum mechanics, optics, statical physics, the general theory of relativity, classical mechanics, etc). The project in question is from the nanophysics department.
