Uyiosa Abusomwan

In his current position as product digitalization architect at Schlumberger, Uyiosa Abusomwan supports engineering teams in the implementation of design automation and multi-discipline design optimization to enhance product performance and accelerate product design. He has a mechanical engineering background with expertise in pressure vessel design, reliability assessment, data analytics and numerical modeling and simulation across multiple roles. Prior to joining Schlumberger, Uyiosa Abusomwan worked as a mechanical engineer in the global reliability & technical support team at Joy Global, Franklin PA, and conducted research at the intelligent systems division of the National Institute of Standards & Technology. He obtained a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
