The EXPEDITE Program and the Benefits of VOLTA as a Server Based MDO Framework

As part of internal research conducted in conjunction with the AFRL EXPEDITE program, ESTECO technology was deployed to develop an optimization workflow of a notional close air support vehicle and to exercise several optimization scenarios. The paradigm shift of moving MDO from a desktop to a server based approach highlighted several benefits which will be presented and discussed.
