Juan Montoro is an Aerospace Engineer with an MBA and 22 years of experience in commercial and military aircraft, rotorcraft and UAV design and development, with over 12 of those years in leadership roles. His current role is Conceptual Design Engineering Manager supporting the Advanced Development Programs (aka Skunk Works) at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. In previous roles, he led an Engineering team developing the next generation of Unmanned/Remotely Piloted aircraft for General Atomics Aeronautical Systems and was the Chief Engineer for multiple large scale civil certification projects for Sikorsky's S-92A Helicopter program. He also provided technical leadership for multiple large (>$1B) international helicopter business acquisition pursuits and for various conceptual design IRAD/CRAD projects.
